We offer various categories of canoeing adventure suitable for everyone, whether you are a single traveller, a family, a group of friends or an individual parent. You can take it easy on our "cakes and lakes" adventure, learn new skills on one of the beginner`s trips, or push yourself a bit on one of the more challenging options. We are used to catering for young people and there will be lots to keep everyone happy.
All you need to choose now is where to go. Loch Ness is world famous and the canoeing route takes you from beneath Scotland?s highest peaks, along the Great Glen past the iconic Urquhart Castle, to Inverness. Or maybe for a short break you could chose a trip on Loch Lomond- it is not far from Glasgow, but has a truly Highland atmosphere, especially the east bank under the towering Ben Lomond. If you prefer moving water, we recommend the Rivers Tay, Tweed and Spey. Each has its own challenges and scenery. We will show you how to run the rapids and enjoy the thrill.
Whatever your choice, you will have an amazing journey with us-go on, we know the outdoors!

Canoeing
Enjoy the magnificent Scottish landscape from a new vantage point. The mountains and glens take on a new beauty reflected in the water, as you paddle your canoe through the wilderness. For example, if you`re after a challenge, the River Tay descent is perfect. We take you from the Highland village of Kenmore on the tranquil and isolated Loch Tay, down the River Tay as far as the village of Stanley, near Perth.
This 3-day tour is aimed at those who have previously gained a few days of canoeing experience and are looking for an exciting level of guided canoe touring adventure. On day 1 we take in grade II white water rapids at the Chinese Bridge on the 11km journey to the campsite at Aberfeldy. Day 2 takes us through the famous rapids at Grantully, including some grade III stretches (which may be by-passed if desired). The final day is much more relaxing.
We supply all safety and camping equipment, meals and free transport from Glasgow. All our guides are experienced and BCU accredited. Example prices: 3-day events £270 per adult, 2-day events £190 per adult. Keep an eye out for special offers and young person discounts too.
