Qualified walking guides share your experience and most trips have an element of journeying from place to place. Transport is provided as required and many trips have a support manager to mastermind your meals. Backpacking raids facilitate access into the heart of wilderness areas to reach tantalising mountain tops, and for these full board meal packs and group camping gear are provided. Quality, safety, environmental sensitivity and fun are the characteristics plus you'll go off home with a lifetime of fond memories and a deep appreciation of Scotland.

Trips are graded to enable wise choices to be made and, if you're still not sure, we're only a phone call or an email away. If you're lacking any essential equipment that we list, most of it can be borrowed or hired.

A range of "off the peg" self lead trips for the more independent minded provide all the information and services required to enable maximum enjoyment and achievement in the time available. Accommodation, baggage transfers, transport links, maps and a detailed dossier are provided so you only need to concentrate on the walking. Our "Specially for You" creations will contain any elements you require at a time and within a budget to suit you.

Snow shoeing

Snow Shoeing
Why sink up to your knees in the white stuff when you could drift along near the surface? Eskimos solved this problem years ago. Travel using modern snow shoes is a fun thing to do and could become a necessary addition to every winter hill walker's repertoire of skills and equipment, and lets you get where others can't. Regular scheduled sessions depart Stirling as conditions allow plus adventures planned on the spur of the moment. Snow shoes and walking poles are provided and transport as required, plus a qualified winter mountain leader will give you insights into the skills and your surroundings.

Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking
This is a great way to exercise vigorously and enjoyably if you've not got a lot of time available, or if you're a bit shaky on the pins. Various scheduled taster sessions and mini-treks operate throughout the Central Belt at times and locations to suit you. A qualified British Nordic Walking instructor leads the sessions and will lend you poles to get you started.
