Markle Fisheries
Three lochs totalling 10 acres provide fly and bait fishing of the highest quality, all set in the beautiful East Lothian countryside near Edinburgh.
The two fly-fishing only lochs, are stocked with Rainbow and Brown Trout to 20lbs, whilst the bait loch provides the opportunity to catch Rainbow Trout as well as Rudd and Carp.
All lochs are situated adjacent to our lodge and car park, and are accessible all round the loch for bank fishing.

The lochs are ideal for novices and families, whilst offering a competitive challenge for experienced anglers. On site facilities include ladies and gents toilets, tackle sales, flies, bait, rod hire and hot and cold drinks.
The Anglers Bothy, is available for group bookings and for events such as BBQs.
Open 7 days a week, 8am to dusk. There is a reduced rate for children and senior citizens, and tuition is available by arrangement.
