Multi-activity days
We can put together a bespoke multi-activity programme for you, based on what you want to get out of the day. It might be a team building event or confidence building day for a school or youth group; we have the experience and the people to provide you with a fantastic experience. We also offer multi-activity holidays during the school holidays: 5 days full of different and exciting activities based in around Inverness and Loch Ness.

Orienteering
A popular choice as part of a multi-activity week. We will teach you the basics of map reading before sending you out in pairs or small groups to find markers hidden in the woods. We can make orienteering as short and simple, or long and complicated as you wish.

Weaselling
Wriggling, scrambling and squirming like a weasel, you enter an underground labyrinth of tunnels, voids and tight spaces under a jumble of vast boulders that have lain undisturbed since the ice age. Don't worry, this is not caving and there is always an easier route! You frequently pop up into the daylight before exploring the next chamber. Great for all the family. It doesn't matter what the weather is outside, it's a different world in the tunnels.

WoW Balling
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to Walk on Water? You climb inside a giant inflatable sphere and once we seal you in and move you onto the water, off you go (at least you can try!). Moving backwards and forwards, side to side and most probably, upside down, you'll have great fun trying something you've probably never done before. This is great fun for all ages. Sea Kayaking Hire
With a fleet of sea and touring kayaks, 3 vehicles and 3 trailers, Boots N Paddles are the specialist paddle sports company in the north of Scotland. Airport pick-ups, supermarket stops, quality boats, camping gear, a fishing rod to catch your tea? You can arrange it all with us. We also offer guided holidays with experienced local canoe or sea kayak guides.
Equipment Supplied: Boats, paddles, buoyancy aids, spray decks, waterproof jackets and helmets if required. In addition to this we have a comprehensive list of other equipment we can hire to you.

Outdoor Climbing
Tried an indoor wall and keen to climb on the real thing? Are you a complete novice but prefer to be outside in the sunshine? No problem. With a range of venues close to Boots N Paddles we can choose the most suitable crag for your needs from first tries to really learning the ropes for yourself.

Mountain Biking
On a bike you can cover more ground than on foot but still at a pace slow enough to appreciate the wildlife and surroundings. Alternatively we can take you over more technical ground where you won't have the chance to look up! We can offer some of the most scenic, pleasurable biking in Scotland, or some of the most technical. The possibilities for day trips are endless, with plenty of opportunities for longer, expedition-style trips for those with more time on their hands. We also specialise in coaching for singletrack skills to take your trail riding to the next level of fluidity and control. Difficult singletrack trails will never have been so ride-able!

Kayaking
We have a small fleet of sit on top (SOT) kayaks for use as part of group activity bookings. SOTs are fun, safe and easy to use by anyone. Ideal for a loch, beach or calm rivers they are a great family craft for weekends away and holidays. They are also idea for group activities, whether that's a group of school children or hen group wanting some fun on the water. We can tailor a session to suit your group, whether it's playing about on an inland loch or a sheltered harbour, or perhaps exploring a stretch of coastline or playing in the surf.

Hill Walking
What more perfect location could you choose? Boots N Paddles is within easy reach of the Cairngorm National Park to the South, whilst to the North and West there are the vast areas of Sutherland and the Rosses to explore. Gorge Walking

Gorge Swimming
A more committing version of gorge walking with wetsuits, bouyancy aids and helmets provided. You may find yourself fighting your way upstream against the flow, clambering up small waterfalls, swimming through calmer sections and jumping into deep pools. A hugely popular choice with both clients and instructors and a favourite hangover cure on stag weekends!

Canoeing
With our versatile Canadian open-canoes we can tailor an activity session to suit your requirements be it a birthday treat with lots of games (we can guarantee some 'unintentional' swimming during the games!), a tranquil loch trip, a gentle paddle down an easy river or a bouncy experience on a bigger river. Perfect for all occasions, canoes are also an excellent way to get closer to the unique wildlife in the area. These versatile boats are easy to load up for a wilder trip to some of Scotland's most remote corners via the lochs and rivers, which give access to our best mountain scenery. Try combining a canoe expedition and tick off that Munro which just seems too far to walk in to.

Aerial Adventure Course
Aerial Adventure Course (TreeZone): TreeZone is an exhilarating, nature-based outdoor activity experience that lasts for 1.5 to 2 hours. It's an exciting adventure playground suspended from wires high up in the pine forests of Rothiemurchus Estate near Aviemore. There are balance beams, Tarzan swings and a monster zip-wire: 35 different challenges that you face on your journey through the forest canopy.

Abseiling
Giving a huge sense of achievement, this is a physically easy but mentally challenging way to spend half a day.
