Alvie Stables offers great value for money with beautiful rides, friendly staff and well schooled horses and ponies. Situated within the Cairngorm National Park and with stunning views of the Spey Valley and Cairngorm Mountain range, there is a real chance to see a variety of wildlife such as red squirrels, deer, buzzards and rabbits!

Established in 1994, we have many riders that chose to return to ride with us because they have had such a great experience. We endeavour to make your ride with us one of the best experiences of your holiday. We offer trekking for beginners, intermediate rides and faster paced hacks for those experienced in canter. Rides are 1/2hr, 1hr and 1 1/2hr. Lessons are also available in our quality sand and rubber arena. Children 4 years and over are welcome, with families our speciality. We are pleased to offer discounts for families and groups.

Alvie Stables is located just 5 miles from Aviemore, in the centre of the Spey Valley. Equipment such as rding hats, boots, gloves, jackets and over trousers are available at no extra cost so if the weather is inclement you can be wrapped and dry! Booking essential to avoid disappointment.
