Ace Adventure is the specialist white water rafting, canoeing and kayaking company in the north of Scotland. We run trips from our base on the banks of the wild River Findhorn all year round with sections suitable for young families at class II & III through to full day adrenaline packed class IV & V white water rafting with cliff jumping along the way (the highest grade of whitewater is VI).
All our trips are professionally photographed and images are included in the price. We also provide clean, quality equipment for your use.
We work with a select number of other local activity providers and can also offer quad biking, go-karting, pony trekking, high ropes, laser combat, paintball and rock climbing.

Activities available
River Bugging
River bugging is the latest craze in outdoor watersports and will provide you with an unforgettable and alternative way to experience the thrills and unpredictability of the river's rapids.
We provide safe, clean and reliable equipment and even professional photography on all trips allowing you to capture the moment on camera. You will have a fantastic opportunity to take in the local wildlife and stunning Scottish scenery, not to mention a thrilling day.
Kayaking
For a guaranteed adrenaline rush and more independence take to the white water rapids of the Rivers Spey, Findhorn or Tay in one of Ace?s white water kayaks. The river used depends on the water level and weather conditions on the day. Whichever river your adventure takes place in; you will have a fantastic opportunity to take in the local wildlife and stunning Scottish scenery, not to mention a thrilling day.
The best time of year for kayaking is autumn but if you?re brave enough to take on the chilly Scottish water in winter, Ace are willing to take you.

Canyonning
Canyoning is an excellent outdoor activity particularly suited to the warmer months of the year. Aviemore Canyoning involves descending and ascending steep narrow burns with the added fun of jumping into deep pools, whizzing down natural water slides and swimming behind magical waterfalls.
Aviemore - Bridge of Brown is suitable for ages 8+. Wet suits, boots and safety equipment are provided. From £40 per person for a half day canyoning.
Aberfeldy - Kelty Burn is suitable for ages 12+. Wet suits, boots and safety equipment are provided. From £45 per person for a half day canyoning.

Aerial Assault Course
Our High Ropes are the biggest and best in Scotland, take part in a range of aerial activities, leaping for distant trapezes, climbing swinging poles or scale a giant, slippery ladder. Perfect for families, corporate groups, school groups, stag and hen parties and anyone who is up for a challenge.
The high ropes are made up of a massive high structure on four giant wooden poles 50 feet in height with exciting challenges underneath. Whilst climbing you are attached to a secure rope which will lower you to the ground if you decide you would rather be on the ground. The challenges include: balance beams, Traverse Challenge, caterpillar climbs, trapeze jump, Jacobs Ladder, All Aboard and Fan Descender.
Only a short drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh, the high ropes are suitable for children from 10 years old. The price is £35 per person for a half day session.
Quad Biking
Quad Biking is one of our most popular activities providing and fast and thrilling adventure in the rugged Scottish countryside.

Duckie paddling
For those who wish to get a little more hands on with their paddle sports Ace Adventure offer single and double person inflatable craft for negotiating the rapids of our best loved rivers. Perhaps you would enjoy the independence of controlling your own destiny, or want to progress towards using an enclosed whitewater kayak or hard shell canoe? If so this is for you. Inflatable duckies provide stability similar to a raft and the manoeuvrability of a kayak. We're not saying 'super easy, but with guidance and a watchful eye from our skillful staff you'll find the rewards of negotiating whitewater all by yourself truly incredible.
White Water Rafting
White water rafting trips with Ace are an excellent introduction to the gentle rapids of the River Spey and River Tay. Suitable for all ages and abilities white water rafting is an excellent day out for families, youth groups and those looking to try something new.

Mountain Biking
Ace Adventure offer mountain bike hire and bespoke Tours. Helmets, trail maps and puncture repair kits are included with the option of child seats and trailers for families.
Our routes begin in Aviemore, where you can explore the surrounding pine forests, Aberfeldy by the River Tay or Aberfoyle next to the spectacular Loch Lomond. We can also provide bespoke tours and tailor made packages on request.
The advantage of mountain biking is that it can be done any time of year, giving you the freedom to explore the countryside and meet the local wildlife in every season.
